AN EXCEPTIONAL JEWELER

Our artist embodies both the soul of the creator and the excellence of the master jeweler. His talent is expressed with rare intensity, blending traditional know-how with contemporary audacity.

An explorer at heart, he wanders the world in search of inspiring horizons and hidden treasures. Each journey becomes an inexhaustible source of creativity, feeding his imagination and shaping his works. With infinite care, he selects the rarest, most dazzling gemstones, true jewels of nature, which he sublimates into unique, timeless creations.

His pieces are not just jewels, but true stories, conveying the spirit of the places, cultures and encounters that have marked his journey. Thus, he has naturally assumed the powerful symbolism of Saint Devote's lucky nails, infusing his creations with a spiritual radiance and a deep connection to traditions

A note of history

The story of Sainte Dévote is at the heart of Monegasque identity.

A virgin and martyr, Sainte Dévote is celebrated every year on January 27.

After refusing to renounce her Christian faith, her body was rescued by the faithful and placed in a boat. Guided by a dove, the boat miraculously landed on the shores of Monaco. The many miracles attributed to Saint Dévote aroused the envy of a fisherman who attempted to steal her relics. In retaliation, Monegasque fishermen confiscated and burned his boat. Since then, Saint Dévote has been considered the protector of the Principality.

In 1924, Prince Louis II of Monaco instituted the tradition of symbolically setting fire to Sainte Dévote's boat every January 27. At the end of this commemoration, children are invited to retrieve the boat's nails from its ashes, rumoured to bring good luck and protection throughout the year.

A JEWEL OF EXCEPTION

This exclusive piece, which you hold in your hands, is inspired by a Monegasque tradition: the setting ablaze of the boat of Sainte Dévote, the patron saint of the Principality of Monaco.

This symbol of protection is reborn today in the form of exceptional jewelry created by Monoïkos 1297, combining elegance and spirituality.

Each piece in this unique collection is designed as a personal talisman. Bringing good luck and protection, each piece of jewelry reflects the timelessness and profound values of the Principality of Monaco.

RECOMMENDATION FROM MONOÏKOS 1297

Keep your silver jewelry sparkling for years to come:

  • Avoid contact with water and chemicals
  • Remove your jewelry before immersing it in water, as silver can tarnish in contact with moisture or abrasive products.
  • Protect it from cosmetics
  • Apply your perfumes, creams and beauty products before putting on your jewelry to minimize the risk of tarnishing or residue build-up.
  • Store it with care
  • Store your jewelry in a velvet pouch or lined case to avoid scratches, away from light and air, to prevent oxidation and protect its finesse.
  • Look after it regularly
  • To revive its shine, use a soft cloth specially designed for silver, or a mixture of lukewarm water and mild soap, to restore your jewel's lustre. Avoid aggressive cleaning products that could damage it.
  • Wear it with care
  • Avoid shocks, rubbing or excessive pressure that could alter its shape or delicate finish.

If you follow these tips, your silver jewel will stand the test of time, enhancing every moment with its timeless brilliance.
