A PASSIONATE DESIGNER

Drawing (his passion since childhood), his high standards, his taste for beautiful materials and his love of colors are part of his creative universe.

His precise line, his talented pencil stroke, his delicate paintings transport us to the high seas on the Principality's emblematic boats.

Combining the gestures of the brush with the mastery of the stylus of the graphic tablet is what characterizes her the most. Collaborating with the greatest luxury houses, she spontaneously and cheerfully embarked on the flagships of Monoïkos 1297.

A NOTE FROM HISTORY

The seas, the oceans hold a central place in the history of the Principality. The Monegasque sovereigns distinguished themselves there in many ways, by large-scale maritime expeditions on the Mediterranean and the Black Sea from the 12th century, by scientific campaigns from Spitzbergen to the Azores, but also by the creation of the Oceanographic Museum and by the Principality's unfailing commitment to their preservation.

Five boats are honored in this collection, five Monegasque boats which illustrate this unfailing and special link of the Principality of Monaco with the seas and the oceans.

The Deo Juvante : Deo Juvante is the motto of the Grimaldi family (with the help of God), inscribed in its coat of arms. It is also the name of the yacht aboard which Prince Rainier welcomed Grace Kelly when he arrived in Monaco for their wedding.

The Tuiga : Flagship of the Yacht Club of Monaco, the Tuiga was born at the beginning of the 20th century, it is one of the jewels of the Principality that can still be admired in the gatherings of classic yachts. Today, he continues to train many young people in the harsh school of sailing, without winches… and without pity!

The Princess Alice and the Swallow : two witnesses to the expeditions of Prince Albert 1st, to his many discoveries and to the commitment already made by Monegasque sovereigns to the preservation of the oceans.

The Malizia : the Monegasque racing boat, which has arrived several times among the first in prestigious races: Transat Jacques Vabre, Route du Rhum, Vendée Globe...

The Malizia – Seaexplorer promotes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The cotton

The cotton of this garment has been carefully chosen.

Cotton is a natural, vegetable fiber and one of the oldest fibers and one of the most used in the world.

Like most natural fibers, cotton is a breathable material. It has the particularity of not being too hot in summer and very pleasant in winter.

A cotton stole will not soak up your sweat and will always remain very comfortable to wear.

In order to preserve its quality over the long term, we recommend that you wash this stole with a mild detergent at 30°C or better still wash it by hand with a teaspoon of white alcohol vinegar and let it dry at dish or entrust its maintenance to a specialist.
